Hawthornes Beer, Booze and Bubbly Block Party Coming to South Philly on Saturday, May 14th

Hawthorne Beer Café (738 S. 11th Street) is reviving its storied beer-centric block party, and adding booze and bubbly to the mix. Hawthornes Beer, Booze and Bubbly Block Party will take over 11th Street (from Fitzwater to Catherine) on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 11:00am to 7:00pm. The usual lineup of parked cars will be replaced with craft beer trucks, big sound bands, and street food eats. Look for $6 local and craft brew pours from your favorites like La Cabra, Conshohocken, Tröegs, Victory, Flying Fish, Yards, Two Roads and more. Food trucks will include French Toast Bites by Lokal Artisan Foods, The Little Scillian, Korea Taqueria, Cloud Cups, Jammin J's, Barkley's BBQ and others to be announced. The music line-up will include The Mini Q's, The Sermon, Snacktime and DJ Adrian Hardy. This all-day, all-ages event is rain or shine. Admission is free and open to the public. This is a cash only event, with drink tickets available at the entrance. Hawthornes will be closed inside for normal seating. Hawthornes Beer Cafe Expands Annual Great Cider and Beer Festival with More Seasonal Selections plus Philadelphia's Top Food Trucks

Hawthornes Beer Cafe (738 S. 11th) celebrates the return of fall with the 3rd Annual Great Cider and Beer Festival on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 11:00am to 8:00pm. With the crisp, cool air moving in, Hawthornes will close down 11th Street from Fitzwater to Catherine, and showcase over 50+ seasonal beers, new and favorite ciders, barrel-aged rarities and wine selections pouring for only five dollars each. Look for a full line-up of Philadelphia's top food trucks to serve warm comfort food for one of the final outdoor festivals of the fall season. On top of food and drink, enjoy live music, entertainment , vendors, pie eating contest, shopping and free family fun! The event is free and open to the public, and rain or shine. Food and drink is pay-as-you-go, cash only. The event is family and pet friendly.

The 9th Annual IPA, Champagne and Rose Block Party on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm will still bring you one of the city's best line-ups of IPAs for only $5.00 each, plus small batch champagnes and roses. Come out for one of South Philadelphia's largest spring block parties, with over 75 total selections of beer, champagne, rose, plus food from ten food trucks, live music, family fun and much more. The party will stretch from 11th and Fitzwater to 11th and Catharine. This all day, all ages event is free, open to the public, and dog friendly.
